Solar panel is an electrical device which consists of number of photovoltaic cell connected to each other. The solar panel does not generate electricity directly. A solar panel is a group of solar cells connected to each other. Many of the solar cells connected to each other can produce enough energy which can run house hold appliances.
Installation Process of solar panel
Bury the Conduit and build a Platform.
Bury the conduit from the house or building that will be able to receive the power to the area where the PV module array will be located.
With the conduit in a particular place, build a platform which consists of concrete pillars and 4x4s that will be able to support the solar array.
Mounting the Panels.
Once the platform is completed, the experts are ready to get started. For the PV module array, the workers use eight 24-volt, 110-watt PV panels that had been pre-fastened to make the array. For the loft in upstairs, four 12-volt, 255-amp sealed batteries will be required to store the power collected by the PV panel. And at last, a 5500-watt power inverter and 40-amp charge controller will be set up in the garage near the standard electrical box.
Securing the Rear Legs
By using meteorological data required to determine the proper angle for the array, elevate and secure the rear legs of the panel.
Wire the Solar Modules
Wire the solar modules all together and collectively join them at a junction connector. The PV modules should be stripped and should be wired in pairs before being connected to junction connector mounted at platform and then connected to underground conduit output cables.
In the terminal box, the wires which are stripped must be connected properly. In instance, the red wires are to be connected to the positive terminal, whereas the black wires to the negative terminal. Once they are connected, the wires are then fed up through the bottom of the junction box and then connected to the positive and negative terminal blocks respectively
Grounding the System
To complete the exterior work, dig a grounding rod into the earth near the array. Leave this long rod extending above the ground approximately 6″.
Make the final electrical connection
After all this process being completed, connect the battery, inverters and ground terminal in the junction box and thoroughly check the connections. This ends the installation process of how to install a solar panel .
